You may be wondering what it is, exactly. The fact is, we’re not entirely sure ourselves. First and foremost, this is an experimental narrative using a 12-month calendar as the primary storytelling medium. It’s also part serial, part time-keeping device, and part Secret Santa. Only part of the story is contained within the pages of the calendar itself–the rest will be delivered across various media throughout the year. We imagine it will be a bit like getting a new word-based art project in the mail each month. You can follow along with the story in several ways: You can download the PDF and watch this page for digital updates; or, you can request a hard copy for a nominal fee (solely to cover printing costs) and receive a gorgeous, professionally printed version to hang on your wall. In addition, you’ll receive all supplementary story materials in their original, real-life form. We do hope you’ll take a chance with us and follow along in real time throughout 2011! RB & JW
